Focus and Scope
The NutriSphere Research Journal is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific forum for publishing comprehensive studies related to Health Sciences, Medicine, Nutrition, and other related disciplines. The journal aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary exchange and interaction among researchers and practitioners in the fields of health, nutrition, and entrepreneurship.
This journal specifically accepts original research articles, reviews, qualitative research, and in silico studies (molecular docking). Our aim is to encourage scientists and researchers to publish their research results comprehensively and professionally. Complete experimental details must be included in the manuscript so that the test results can be cited and adopted by the scientific community. Electronic files, software, survey instruments, or other supporting materials that are unsuitable for inclusion in the main body of the manuscript can be deposited as supplementary material.
NutriSphere Research Journal will consider manuscripts for publication if they offer novel insights into interventions in the form of food products, food technology innovations, or the impact of nutrition on human health. This includes both human-based studies and in vivo/in vitro studies with strong translational relevance to human health.
Focus and Scope
The following subject areas fall within the scope considered for publication in this journal:
- Public Health: Encompasses epidemiological and nutritional studies, health policy formulation and evaluation, health economics, global health, social anthropology of health, as well as public health interventions and health promotion.
- Nutrition Science and Nutrigenomics: Covers the biochemical and physiological aspects of nutrient functions, clinical and therapeutic nutrition, functional foods, nutraceuticals, and the behavioral and socio-economic factors influencing dietary patterns.
- Food Science and Technology: Fundamental and applied research in food chemistry, advances in processing and packaging technologies, food microbiology and safety, food biotechnology, sensory science, food security policy, and specific certification standards (such as Halal food production).
- Nutripreneurship: Focuses on the development of commercial food product innovations, entrepreneurial strategies in nutrition and functional foods, healthy culinary business management, and the economic aspects of new product development.
- Review Methods: The journal accepts manuscripts using comprehensive review methodologies, including Systematic Reviews, Meta-Analyses, and Scoping Reviews that provide an in-depth synthesis of current trends in health and nutritional sciences.
- Nursing Science and Practice: Principles of nursing care and specialist practices (such as medical-surgical, critical care, mental health, and gerontological nursing) related to nutrition, nursing management and leadership, and the quality of evidence-based interventions.
- Pharmacology: Evaluation of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, pharmacoepidemiology, clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical care, and medication therapy management.
- Biological and Biomolecular Nutrition: Research on the biological mechanisms of nutrients at the cellular level, biochemical pathways, and molecular interactions and nutrigenomics. This also includes in silico studies (such as molecular docking) to understand the interaction of bioactive compounds with protein targets related to metabolism and health.
- Agricultural Nutrition: Studies on the relationship between agricultural practices, biofortification, sustainable food systems, and the impact of the agricultural supply chain on the nutritional quality of food products.
- Reproductive Health Nutrition: Focuses on the role of nutritional interventions in supporting reproductive health, fertility, and nutritional care across the male and female reproductive life cycles.
- Aesthetic Nutrition: Research on the effects of nutrient intake and bioactive compounds on the health of skin, hair, and nails, as well as the concept of "beauty from within" through nutrient optimization.
- Sports Nutrition: Studies on energy metabolism, dietary management for optimizing athletic performance, the use of sports nutrition supplements, and post-physical activity recovery strategies.
