Hamstring injury is one of the common injuries among futsal players due to running, sprinting, sudden changes in direction, and physical contact. Adequate knowledge of first aid is essential to improve players’ preparedness to provide appropriate initial management. This study aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge level and first aid preparedness for hamstring injuries among futsal players at Merpati Futsal Field in Palu City. This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 63 futsal players selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires assessing knowledge and first aid preparedness for hamstring injuries, which had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that 28 respondents (44.4%) had good knowledge, 25 (39.7%) had moderate knowledge, and 10 (15.9%) had poor knowledge. Regarding preparedness, 46 respondents (73.0%) were categorized as prepared, while 17 (27.0%) were unprepared. The Chi-Square test showed a significant relationship between knowledge level and first aid preparedness for hamstring injuries (p = 0.003; <0.05). It can be concluded that knowledge level is significantly associated with first aid preparedness for hamstring injuries among futsal players.
