PENGARUH TERAPI MUSIK TERHADAP TINGKAT KECEMASAN IBU HAMIL TRIMESTER III DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS SANGURARA

First-time pregnancy is a very new experience and often triggers various emotions, including anxiety. Anxiety commonly arises from a lack of experience. At this stage, pregnant women undergo physical and emotional changes and are exposed to various sources of information that may cause confusion and fear. Based on interview results conducted in the delivery room of Sangurara Community Health Center with five third-trimester primigravida pregnant women, three reported feeling anxious as labor approached and worried about the fetus, while two stated that they felt anxious about their baby’s health. This study used a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest–posttest pre-experimental design. The population consisted of 53 pregnant women, with a sample of 35 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Among the 35 respondents, before music therapy was administered, most respondents experienced moderate anxiety, totaling 20 respondents (57.1%). music therapy, most respondents were not anxious, totaling 19 respondents (54.3%). The results of the nonparametric Wilcoxon test showed a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05).
