Abstract

Rheumatoid Arthritis is a joint disease also known as autoimmune (a disease that occurs when the body is attacked by the immune system), which causes pain in joints such as knees, hands, fingers, inflammation, stiffness, swelling, muscle pain, and bones. The aim of research was to determine the correlation factors of recurrence of Rheumatoid Arthritis disease in the elderly at the Ogoamas Public Health Centre, Kec. Sojol Utara. This quantitative research uses an analytical observation design with a cross sectional approach using the chi-square test. The total population was 49 people, samples taken by used purposive sampling. The results of data analysis with the chi-square test obtained a sig tailed value = 0.000, 0.000, 0.000, at a significant level (a = 0.05), which the sig value < a (0.001) means that there is a correlation of the factors of recurrence of rheumatoid arthritis in the elderly at the Ogoamas Public Health Centre, Kec. Sojol Utara.
