General Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian and must not have been previously published or be in the process of being submitted to another media.
  2. They must not contain any elements of plagiarism.
  3. Authors must register as authors
  4. Manuscripts will be published in INBIS: Innovation of Business and Information Systems after being peer-reviewed.
  5. Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the guidelines and templates.

Manuscript Structure

 

  1. Title. The title should be short, clear, and informative, but no longer than 20 words. It should accurately reflect the topic being discussed. The article title should not contain any uncommon abbreviations. The main idea should be stated first, followed by an explanation.
  2. Author's name and institution. The author's name must be accompanied by the author's institution, institutional address, and email address, without academic title or position
  3. The abstract should be written in one paragraph of a maximum of 250 words. For research articles, the abstract should provide a relevant overview of the work. We strongly encourage authors to use the following structured abstract style, but without headings: (1) Background: Place the question addressed in a broad context and highlight the research objectives; (2) Research Objectives: Identify the aims and objectives of the research; (3) Methods: Briefly describe the main methods or theoretical framework applied; (4) Results: Summarize the main findings of the article; and (5) Conclusion: Present the main conclusions or interpretations.
  4. Keywords. List three to five related keywords that are specific to the article; but fairly general in the subject discipline; use lowercase letters except for names.
  5. The introduction should briefly place the study in a broad context and highlight why it is important. It should define the purpose of the work and its significance. The current state of the field of research should be carefully reviewed, and key publications cited. Please highlight controversial and divergent hypotheses where appropriate. Finally, briefly state the main purpose of the work and highlight the main conclusions. As far as possible, please keep the introduction understandable to scholars outside your specific research field. References should be cited as (Kamba, 2018) or (Marchlewska et al., 2019) or (Cicchocka, 2016; Hidayat & Khalika, 2019; Ikhwan, 2019; Madjid, 2002) or (Miller & Josephs, 2009, p. 12) or Rakhmat (1989). See the end of the document for further details on references. Technical terms should be defined. Symbols, abbreviations, and acronyms should be defined when first used. All tables and figures should be listed in numerical order. The research methods should be included in the Introduction. The methods section explains the research approach, research subjects, implementation of research procedures, use of materials and instruments, data collection, and analysis techniques.
  6. The results obtained from the research must be supported by adequate data. The research results and findings must provide answers to, or support, the research hypothesis previously stated in the introduction.
  7. Discussion: The discussion is highlighted through section headings and subheadings, if appropriate. Authors should discuss the results and how they can be interpreted in light of previous research and the working hypothesis. The findings and their implications should be discussed in the broadest possible context. Future research directions may also be highlighted. The following components should be covered in the discussion: How do your results relate to the initial questions or objectives outlined in the Introduction (what/how)? Do you provide a scientifically sound interpretation for each result or finding you present (why)? Are your results consistent with what other researchers have reported (what else)? Are there any discrepancies?
  8. The conclusion should address the research objectives and findings. The conclusion should not simply reiterate the results and discussion or summarize the abstract. It should also suggest future research and highlight ongoing research.

  9. The literature listed in the Bibliography should only include sources referenced or included in the article. It is recommended to prepare references using a bibliographic software package, such as Mendeley, EndNote, Reference Manager, or Zotero, to avoid typos and duplicate references. Reference sources should provide 80% of journal articles, proceedings, or research results from the last five years. The bibliography should be written using the APA (American Psychological Association) Style, 7th edition.
