Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a significant public health problem in tropical countries, including Indonesia. The prevention of DHF requires active participation from families, especially mothers as the primary caregivers for children. Mothers’ knowledge about DHF may influence their attitudes toward disease prevention. This study aimed to determine the relationship between knowledge and mothers’ attitudes in preventing Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever among children aged 1–5 years at Bhayangkara Hospital, Palu. This study used a quantitative approach with an observational analytic design using a cross-sectional method. The sample consisted of 30 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using knowledge and attitude questionnaires and analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with Fisher’s Exact Test. The results showed that most respondents had good knowledge (73.3%) and good attitudes (86.7%) toward DHF prevention. The bivariate analysis showed a p-value of 0.003 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between mothers’ knowledge and attitudes in preventing DHF. The study concludes that better knowledge is associated with more positive attitudes toward DHF prevention among mothers.
