Nurses' professional attitudes play a crucial role in determining patient satisfaction, influenced by individual factors, the work environment, and the healthcare system. Challenges in nurse-patient interactions can impact the experience and outcomes of care. This study aims to analyze the relationship between nurses' professional attitudes and patient satisfaction in the internal medicine ward of Anutapura Regional Hospital, Palu. This study used an analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 35 respondents selected through purposive sampling technique. Data regarding nurses' professional attitudes and patient satisfaction were collected using a questionnaire, then analyzed using the chi-square test. Of the 35 respondents, a good nurse's professional attitude was associated with patient satisfaction of 77.8% (14 respondents) and dissatisfaction of 22.2% (4 respondents). Meanwhile, a poor professional attitude was associated with satisfaction of 35.3% (6 respondents) and dissatisfaction of 64.7% (11 respondents). The statistical test showed a probability value of 0.011, indicating a significant relationship between nurses' professional attitudes and patient satisfaction in the internal medicine ward of Anutapura Regional Hospital, Palu.
